I tried something new yesterday. I had my second story of the year published. Until now, I’ve been lying pretty steadily around once piece a year. With another seven months left of 2024, I might even dare hope for a third publication before the year ends.
My most recent story is called “Canned Kraken”, and as with my previous 2024 publication, it’s a micro fiction piece published over at Stupefying Stories as part of their Pete Wood Challenge. This time the prompt was “Tristan da Cunha” the most remote inhabitated island in the world.
I am trying to get longer stories published, so far without luck. For now, though, I’m just happy with another publication to my name and with what I managed to produce with the very limited word count set by the challenge.
